I'm Back

This couple of months have been very interesting for me. First of all, work wise, I finally find a job that not only allowed me to improve as a designer but also has an excellent work environment.Now I love coming to work, and that is enough for me.
Good times ! but my "free" time has suffer a lot. Meaning, I don't have much.
But I'm very eager to get this blog project going. You just have to be patient.

i while ago i stumbled to this wonderful tutorial about making fabrics labels and i though it was a great idea for my little business, here are the results

by the way, I know that up north is getting warmer and you all are expecting summer time, but we at the south is getting cooler, jeje. I love fall and winter. I really love the rainy days.

 

In Spanish "scarf" is "Bufanda". I always thought it sounded very funny... bu fan da. Try to say it fast. It´s sounds like some kind of food or an exotic country...

Life has been hectic, and I have to say that I´m not sure what I´m going to do with all the mess in my life, but I have peace in my heart and that is what´s important, right?

Weekend

I haven't told you guys that I recently switched jobs. Recently as in this past week.
So that is why I haven't been able to update as often as I wanted, but I promise I'll try harder.

This my first weekend off, I planned to catch up with some other works I have, but I took it slow, and I did nothing. Just rest and some crafts for fun. On of the things in my ToDo list was to re-cover an old Bible we had, that was beautiful but the cover was very shabby.

I found this amazing tutorial from DaveTheDesigner.Net that teaches how to build a book, from scratch and was very helpful with what I wanted to do.
Here some pics of the process.

I used an organic cotton that I had laying around with no purpose. I bought it last year online but I cant remember where....

2011 new year all new

Wow,
somehow is already 2011. Somehow I went through '10 safe and sound, jeje.
Last night was so calm and quiet, dined at friends and family, then went out for a drink at the square. Had one of those long and sincere conversations with my best friend Marce talking about are hopes and dreams for '11, loved it.

I didn't have to much time to prepare a nice Xmas post like I wanted, with all the things I want to say about Xmas, its meaning and it joy, but I don't want to lose the opportunity  to wish you all the best Xmas ever, blessing for you and for you families and friends.
